Licensed practical nurse
Duties and responsibilities:
An LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
needs to attend to patients and his or her responsibility would include
collecting lab samples for required tests, feeding patients, applying bandages
and dressings, and gathering patient information. In addition, these LPNs will
also assist the patients for their personal hygiene or even provide rubs or
massages.
Salary:
$29,680 to $56,010.
Education:
Aspiring LPNs need a high school
diploma or GED to apply for an LPN educational training program, typically a
12-month program found in technical and vocational schools and community
colleges. These programs award diplomas or certificates rather than degrees.
The most reputable programs will be accredited by the National League for
Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
My reflection:
I think I would want to be this
because it sounds interesting and they get paid pretty well and they get to
very interesting things. I think I would want to become a L.P.N.
