                       Occupational Therapist

Duties and responsibilities:

  Occupational therapists help people with mental, physical or social disabilities to independently carry out everyday tasks or occupations. They work with children and adults of all ages, whose difficulties may have been presence since birth, or the result of an accident, illness, ageing or lifestyle.

Salary: $83,000

Education:

  Occupational therapists work with people who have been injured or disabled in some way that hinders their ability to live independently. These might be elderly people that want to be more active and independent or children who are struggling in school. Due to the nature of their work, occupational therapists work in a wide range of different areas.

Reflection:


Well I would like to be an occupational therapist because it sounds very interesting and it helps people.
